Matthew Hayden to set up a cricket academy in Chennai

Retired Aussie opening batsman Matthew Hayden signed an agreement with his Indian Premier League franchise Chennai Super Kings to set up a cricket academy in Chennai for the kids by the end of this year. All the essential paper work for opening the academy were done at a meeting between CSK owner N Srinivasan and Hayden. Hayden will be part of the academy with former New Zealand skipper Stephen Fleming and Indian captain Rahul Dravid. Hayden will be leaving Chennai for England tomorrow and will be back in mid September after witnessing the Ashes series between Australia and England. The academy will be functional before end of the year and all other aspects of the academy have to be structured. They have already started work on the project.
